Metamorphosis 2017 was the 4th edition of this international dance project.

 

This year in Shanghai, our 23 talented local and international dancers came from eleven different countries, with six dancers from Shanghai Dance Theatre.

The dancers were joined by more than ten local and international artists from five nationalities and a diverse set of artistic disciplines.

 

Together, all our artists aimed to create a cultural bridge across the arts by integrating and sharing their knowledge and respective expertise.

Metamorphosis 2017 was a melting pot of dance which took place in some of Shanghai’s most important cultural spaces.
