The city of Mexico has been chosen to carry out the second edition of this meeting of intense cultural and artistic exchanges.

 

With the National Arts Centre, National Institute of Fine Arts as a base we had 18 participants dancers from 10 countries around the world (New Zealand, USA, Australia, Spain, Japan, Canada, France, Honduras, Italy, Mexico) who have previously worked with Iratxe and 12 Mexican dancers selected through an audition for dancers linked to CENART. All together, they have been part of the training and creative process during the artistic residency. The Residency took place from 17th August until6 September in different rehearsal rooms and outdoor spaces of the CNART. There was also the participation of various local and international visual artists to carry out a documentary to enhance the incredible potential of this great event.

At the end of the three-week intensive course, the period ended with the presentation on the 6th September of a show created by Iratxe. Iratxe and Igor also presented their last show as a dancers and choreographers: "Uno senza Due", premier was July 2015 at Beijijng Dance Festival.

On the same day of the presentation, a photo exhibition was presented in the hall of the theatre by photographer David Flores about the dancers.
