Born in Barcelona (1994) Gemma Espinosa is a professional dancer and fashion designer. Since she was a child she felt very attracted by both disciplines, always trying to merge them in one.

 

She began her dancing studies at Centre de Dansa de Catalunya where she met Iratxe Ansa while finishing her schooling at the age of 17.

Since then she has been working with Iratxe and her method around the globe, including China, Mexico, Italy, Spain and many others. She has been involved heavily in the growth and development of Metamorphosis from the start, travelling overseas to gather inspiration from different cultures and their people. Additionally, she has danced for companies such as BallettMainz in Germany and Compagnie Peter Agardi in France.

 

She currently resides in Barcelona where she studies in one of the most important universities of fashion design, LCI Barcelona Felicidad Duce and freelances as a dancer.
